My Life Without Electricity

Yesterday was a bummer. A typhoon hit the Metro a few days back, and our electricity was cut at about midnight last Tuesday. We spent literally the whole day yesterday doing nothing. I decided to drive around the city in the afternoon, in the hope of chilling out at a nearby mall, but to no avail, the two malls I've gone to were both disgustingly hot and humid. I dunno if it's just the weather, or it's because people who were sweating all over were all bumming around the stores :( So I just grabbed coffee and headed straight back home. Also, ridiculous traffic is ridiculous. Well at least I got to spend quite some time in an airconditioned space, right? LOL, I mean, my car. OTL

Anyway, it was quite nice staying home with your whole family without electricity. Everyone was cranky and funny. Dad and mom and Lyle all charged their phones using the laptops, we had fun playing with a little green flashlight which was just actually a Star Trek freebie from a cereal.

LOL! Good thing we have electricity now. God! Brown-outs will drive us out of sanity, I swear! How was everyone these past days? I hope nobody got hurt 'coz of the typhoon, or anything :3
